"While we were on tour last spring we got asked to do a remix of Van She's cover of Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear The Reaper." (A remix of a cover, how post-modern.) The deadline was really tight though, so the only way we could do it is if we rented a studio in Paris and worked there for the 5 days we had off. Luckily, we found a place we could work on such short notice. We didn't have ANY of our usual gear with us (let alone our hard drive!), so we built this thing on foreign equipment: old ludwig kit, roland jupiter 6, fender bass, roland sbf 325 stereo flanger, percussion, old upright piano, and of course, a space echo. In the end it worked out....I think. Happy Holidays Y'all."

The 'Driveby' track is featured on the UNTZUNTZ001 12" that we are releasing this friday on Untz Untz Records. It will be played at NRK P3's national radioshow 'Lydverket' tonight. Tune in between 20:00 and 21:00.

Norway's cultural minister Anniken Huitfeldt said this about 'Velferd - Driveby' @ Lydverket today:
